Isolations & Impairments
00:00: Welcome to the pulse demo. In this brief clip, we will 00:04: demonstrate the digital isolation and impairment process. 00:11: The company or individual requesting, the isolation will start by visiting the 00:15: URL shown on your screen or scanning the designated QR code once 00:20: the form, loads proceed to select, the appropriate site name. 00:25: Next, please provide, the reason for the isolation along with the type 00:29: of impairment request. 00:31: From the drop-down menu, select the system you wish to isolate. 00:35: For this example, we have chosen dry and wet fire. 00:40: Select the file systems, you wish to isolate. 00:43: Based on your previous selections, we may need some additional information. 00:48: Please check the relevant items listed below. 00:52: Please provide a concise overview of the tasks that will be performed. 00:56: Please specify the proposed, start and end date, and time for the isolation 01:01: period. 01:02: From the drop-down menu, please select the location where isolation is needed 01:06: along with the appropriate level. 01:09: Please choose either a zone or a detector for isolation and then provide 01:14: the corresponding Zone and node information in the following question. 01:18: Please provide the required company details. 01:20: Accurately as this information is essential for sending approvals and 01:24: notifications. 01:26: Please upload your supporting documentation in the designated box. 01:31: Complete the form by ensuring that all fields are filled in, then click 01:35: submit to finalize your entry. 01:38: Upon submission of the form, you will receive a confirmation email. 01:46: After submitting, the isolation request, the operations team will receive 01:50: an approval request via email as Illustrated below. 01:55: By clicking the link in the email, the team can log in and proceed with 01:59: the next steps. 02:01: Log into the pulse portal and navigate to the pulse isolation. 02:04: Register located in the approvals tab. 02:08: Browse through the list to locate the isolation request. 02:11: The facilities manager will either approve or reject the request. 02:15: Please select the precautions. You wish to take from the available checkboxes 02:20: Once you've finished please, enter your signature in the designated box. 02:24: Additionally, provide the full name of the individual, completing 02:28: the form 02:29: Select approve. 02:31: Upon approval of the isolation request. You will receive a confirmation email. 02:35: Detailing the specifics Additionally, a 02:40: fire systems isolation request will be sent to you and other key 02:44: members as a calendar. Invite 02:50: Before starting any physical work that requires an isolation, please, click 02:54: on the active tab to review all current isolation requests. 02:58: Locate your specific isolation request to proceed with the necessary actions. 03:04: After completing the physical isolation. Please log this entry by clicking 03:08: the isolated button on the right hand side. 03:11: The isolation has now been recorded, and the status has been updated to 03:16: indicate that it is currently isolated. 03:19: The requester will receive a confirmation text message sent to their phone number. 03:24: This message will contain the security number which should be contacted. 03:27: Once the work is completed. Additionally, the requestor 03:31: will receive two reminders. One an hour before the scheduled 03:35: completion time and another one an hour after 03:40: Based on the type of isolation request you submit pulse will automatically 03:44: generate an impairment notice in your company's specified format. 03:48: This notice will be sent to you as an email PDF attachment. 03:52: You then have the option to forward it, to your insurer following, 03:56: the agreed upon process. 04:02: When complete, select D isolate. 04:05: Navigate to the de isolation table, when works have been completed. 04:10: Select confirm. Following this another confirmation 04:14: email will be received to confirm that. 04:16: The D isolation is successful. 04:19: To update the record. Start by selecting the relevant checkboxes and 04:23: providing your signature. Once you've completed these steps, 04:27: click the update button to finalize, the de isolation process. 04:32: You can review all previous events by navigating to the history tab. 04:37: Pulse creating safer places reducing disruption to 04:41: businesses customers and property owners.
